So good to read Mo Ren and Shi Mo's wonderful comments. I only want to supplement one thing about BSC. BSC can be used for individual performance appraisal. However, the KPIs are not easily to be set, except those like IBM with simpler personnel structure. Moreover, BSC is not so suitable for Chinese companies because they are of weak management and are lack of sound IT structure. Quantatitive managerial data cannot be offered in time. Last but not the least, minute management means higher managerial cost.
